Home Care Association Recognizes Jewish Home’s Bridget Gallagher with its Highest Distinction

The Home Care Association of New York State has named Bridget Gallagher, Senior Vice President for Community Services at Jewish Home Lifecare, winner of the 2015 Ruth F. Wilson Award, the organization’s highest honor.

It is given each year to a member who has demonstrated exceptional dedication, and made a significant contribution, to the field by raising the standard care for patients or advancing understanding among the home care community, healthcare providers, government representatives and entities, and the public.

When presenting the award to Ms. Gallagher, Home Care Association president Joanne Cunningham expressed the praised Ms. Gallagher’s for her high level of “professionalism, loyalty and dedication to [the group’s] members, to [Jewish Home], and to the home care community during … a time of tremendous flux [in the healthcare industry].” Ms. Cunningham also lauded  Gallagher for “making sure homecare has a seat at the table and continuing to raise the standards of quality of care for … patients.”
