Marie Rosenthal, MSN, RN, NHA, is the Administrator of the Manhattan Division of The New Jewish Home. The Manhattan Division, a 514-bed skilled nursing facility, serves more than 1000 patients and residents a year through its dedicated postacute rehabilitation, dementia and long term care units.
Marie began her career as a registered nurse in critical care with a sub-specialty in cardiothoracic surgery. She was the Director for the cardiothoracic program at St. Vincent’s Hospital for six years before accepting a position at New York United Hospital as the Director of Critical Care and the Emergency Department.
Marie earned a Masters Degree in Nursing Administration from Adelphi University, and her Nursing Home Administrator’s License while she worked at Sarah Neuman. There she was initially hired as Director of Subacute, opening the Weinberg Pavilion in 1999. She was promoted to the Associate Director of Nursing and then Director of Performance Improvement before she joined the Manhattan leadership team June 2006 as the Assistant Administrator for Resident and Clinical Services. In January, 2012, she was appointed to the position of Vice President for Post Acute Care Services, and in 2014 she was named Associate Administrator, Manhattan.
