Jewish Home’s CardioPulmonary Rehabilitation Center, affiliated with NYU Langone Medical Center
The New Jewish Home and NYU Langone Medical Center have collaborated to create a state-of-the-art, 38-bed post-acute cardiopulmonary rehabilitation unit. Located at the Manhattan campus of Jewish Home’s Skilled Nursing division, this patient and family centered program is designed for patients with a wide range of cardiac conditions.
What is Post Acute CardioPulmonary Rehabilitation?
Post Acute cardiopulmonary rehabilitation is a bridge for patients between their acute stay in the hospital and their discharge home. An interdisciplinary team of cardiac rehabilitation specialists provides patients with the medical, nursing, and rehabilitation care to reach a high level of independence and quality of life prior to their transition to home.
A Higher Standard of Care
The program was developed in collaboration with NYU Langone Medical Center, including physician staffing and therapist training by NYU Langone’s Rusk Rehabilitation, ranked #1 in New York State for rehabilitation by U.S. News & World Report.
The expertise of Rusk’s cardiac rehabilitation specialists, combined with Jewish Home’s extensive history of skilled therapy and patient and family centered care, provides patients with the highest standard of cardiac care available.
What Makes Us Unique
We also provide continuous IV medication, if required, wound care management, and recreational programs.
