Lee Grant
Lee Grant is an Academy Award winning actor, director, activist, and blacklist survivor. She is the first female director to be honored by the Directors Guild of America (DGA). Appearing in many of the most influential films of the New Hollywood era she is a four-time Oscar nominee, winning the Academy Award for Shampoo. Two of Lee Grant’s early films as a director, The Stronger and Tell Me A Riddle were recently restored by the Academy and premiered at the 2023 New York Film Festival (NYFF). Ms. Grant’s memoir I Said Yes to Everything was published in 2015.
