We are happy to announce the reopening of our Adult Day Health Care (ADHC) program in the East Bronx. The modern and welcoming center provides integrated medical, social, and therapeutic services for local adults with chronic conditions like heart disease, diabetes, and Alzheimer’s.

The New Jewish Home has been delivering high-quality healthcare to older New Yorkers for 175 years. Besides skilled nursing facilities, we are committed to providing community-based and at-home care. The reopening in the Bronx allows us to continue serving critical services for vulnerable adults.

The center offers services such as physical, occupational, and speech therapy, behavioral health care, diabetes management, medication management, skilled nursing care, and nutritional counseling. Additionally, we have partnered with SAGECare to develop a program for an LGBTQ+ participant group in the Bronx.

The comprehensive center boasts four themed dining areas, private suites with rehabilitation equipment, areas for massage and therapy, a library, garden room for reflection, a welcoming lounge with recreational areas, and a high-tech media center and computer lab.
